• Security - Replication over the network or Internet is encrypted. Local databases on notebook computers are encrypted automatically. Access to the server and database requires a secure encrypted user-id. Access can be controlled at a server, database, document, and field level.
• E-mail which is substantially less vulnerable to viral attacks when compared to Outlook.
• Attach anything - Any information can be attached to a document in the database (e.g, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Image files, Rich Text, Text, etc.). Once information is attached it is secure and will replicate.
• Collaboration - Users can collaborate within the database. They can have full electronic communications. Each posting automatically contains the date, time, and user name.
• Audit Trail - The database will contain a full audit trail of all information and communications and can be sorted by any key field (date, username, document name, and any custom key fields we add).
• Web access - The database can be available for web access.
• Work Anytime/Anywhere - Users can work on the database on their local computer in the same way they work connected to the server (e.g. , home, hotel, airplane). When they are connected to the server they simply replicate (either manually or automatically) and new and updated information is sent to the server and new and updated information from the server is received to the notebook computer.
• Rapid Application Development - We can build applications in a fraction of the time it takes using other technologies (typically hours and days vs. weeks and months). At SGA, we have a collection of pre-built applications which we can offer to you and customize with your business processes.
• Built-in search engine (like google) where you can search in various ways for information in mail or any customized database.
